I think this was a good step for him. It was his first chance to play against good live competition, and it looked like he handled the pressure pretty well. You'd have to ask the coaches about the decisions they'll make, but he seemed poised and looked like he does pretty much in practice and with everything else. You're happy to see you got a guy who is pretty much what you expected.

We wanted to see how Charlie would handle the surprise start, and it looked like he handled it pretty good. I think his numbers looked pretty good in the first half. He did a nice job.

I thought he played pretty well; he did a lot of things we asked him to do. No. 1, he had a lot of poise and composure out there, and good presence in the pocket. Going in, we didn't think Tommy was going to be able to play this week, (but) he looked pretty good. And Charlie has worked hard on the show team, and he looked good and did a good job.

I think we just started to play hockey. It was pretty torturous for the first two periods there. We had a few brief moments in there where we did play good or looked all right, but, for the most part, we looked like a pee-wee team out there.

He looked pretty good. When we gave him some room to run, I think he did a pretty nice job. He's going to be a really good football player once he learns our offense more.
