en I think he will be joining the squad (this week). I don't know if he will be playing though.

en It's hard to take when I was used to playing week-in week-out and then I wasn't even making a 20-man squad at Spurs.

en I'm looking to get back into the squad for the World Cup, ... It will be nice to achieve but I can only do that by playing and hopefully I can do that week and week out.

en However I will rotate the squad a little bit because some have played two international games. Also we'll be playing on Wednesday next week and then the Monday after that.

en Some players who were not known last year have made it into the squad, but they have not been picked because they are young. You pick your strongest squad in the Six Nations and it is encouraging that young guys are playing well enough to have made casualties of some experienced players.

en They are playing more physical. Now we have to switch gears because we are playing a whole other type of attack this week. Purdue's tough to defend; they are doing a great job with that offense. We'll know a lot more about our defense after this week. Right now, we are OK.

en It's great to practice more, but it's just as important to face real competition. Playing week-to-week isn't what I'd describe as the way to go in a sport like volleyball. This isn't football. In my opinion, not playing hurts us.
