en The squad has had a good rest this week after our trip. While we have had a short preparation this week, it has been a concentrated one.

en Having a week off has been good for him. He went through all the drills last week, but we held him out of contact. We have to have him healthy to make a (state title) run. We can't have him play a week, rest a week and then play. He needs to be there for us to be the best team we can be.

en We're going to approach this as a normal week. We're treating this week just like every other week this year in terms of our preparation for the game.

en We have made some ground, but we are looking for some more. We had a good trip last week, but we are just a couple of week's removed from a bad first half (against South Dakota Tech).

en Usually they wish for a trip to Disney World. We send the whole family for a whole week. All expenses paid, first-class, top-of-the-line. No worries that week about any financial problems, any medical visits or treatments. They just have a week to be a kid again.

I would think, knowing where we are in the season, we ought to have a good understanding of that. Just keep pushing on that.

en It felt 100 times better than what we've been doing. It's just one game, so that home atmosphere hasn't gotten around completely. But not getting on an airplane and going somewhere -- it's not like those were one-hour flights. [Last week's trip to] Minnesota was the shortest, and it was three hours. It's been a haul. You keep doing that week in and week out, it's hard. As a team, we've got to do the best we can with these games that are in San Antonio.

en We've asked a lot of him this week: Starting, relieving, short rest. He's a young kid, and a good kid and a good pitcher, but he made a couple of mistakes. It's a tough situation for him.

en I really think we do a good job of treating every opponent the same, ... Coming off the short week, that's a challenge. We took that this week and it carried over on the field for a good win against a division team.

en We had a good week and yeah, we still did have a chance at the end of this game. Coming short last year we would have liked to win this one, but it's a good week nonetheless.
