The shopping buddy is an interesting concept but it's essentially an experiment. The future of traditional supermarkets isn't that good right now and companies operating in the channel have to find ways to capture the consumer's attention.

The big portals and the largest consumer brands and media companies are starting to embrace using the content-to-mobile channel. We expect to see a generous amount of new revenue for the media companies and the operating networks.

In traditional supermarkets, you look at that rotisserie case and you get sick to your stomach. They haven't done a good job keeping it clean and making it appealing. If you do see some changes, there could be some operating efficiencies and economies of scale that flow through to the consumer via lower prices. But I do believe that they're going to operate the way that these companies have operated. They have very strong stores to begin with?so the consumer shouldn't see too much change at the beginning.
