All our fleet sales are profitable, though daily-rental are the least so. What is Wall Street suggesting, that we stop selling to Hertz, Avis and Alamo? They're customers, and they're not going to fold their tents and go away.

Our sales results reflect our conscious strategy to reduce our reliance on the less profitable daily rental portion of our fleet business and focus our efforts to grow the retail side of the business.

Avis and Hertz won't be too pleased about it. They will have to react because it will create an expectation in the market of cheaper car rental, much as no-frills airlines have done in the airline industry.

We are pleased to open our newest location in Harriman, providing tri-state area suburban clientele with yet another option for their car rental needs, and we look forward to bringing Hertz locations even closer to our suburban customers in 2006. We believe the key to our success in this region is that customers, businesses, dealerships and insurance companies have embraced Hertz' reliable service and diverse selection of vehicles, as well as such conveniences as free pick-up and Hertz #1 Club Gold.

Our retail sales were strong again in March and we exceeded our expectations despite another substantial reduction in daily rental fleet volume. We continue to exceed our year ago retail levels, our share continues to stabilize and our inventories remain lean.

Alamo.com will always be the best place for our customers to make a rental reservation. That's where customers will always find our guaranteed best rates, our pre-pay and save option, and the newest features that make the travel process faster and easier.

We're continuing to see retailers cite the weather for either making or breaking their sales numbers. Frankly, I think is an excuse tailored to satisfy Wall Street. Wall Street is a little more forgiving if a major retailer blames weather for disappointing sales.

Really, a lot of our share loss this year is a strategy to -- and I think it's the right thing to do -- lessen the daily rental fleet,

If we were going to fold our tents, that was a time to do it, but we didn't. We stepped up when our backs were against the wall. Our defense did a good job of keeping them out of the end zone.

We love commercial fleet sales (to corporations). They're profitable, and we're not looking to decrease those.
