Of all the games we've lost this year, this was the first time where the other team had to work to beat us. We didn't lose tonight because of some dumb mistakes.

en At this time of the year there is no sense of dwelling or feeling bad about what just happened. It's about answering. That's our quest for [tonight] is having the right answer. If we don't, then we put ourselves in a pretty major hole in a seven-game series. But I have no doubt about the team as far as how they have answered in certain situations. I believe we will get the right one [tonight]. That's all we are looking to do. You can't get too far ahead. We are looking to win one game.

en We say that every year and we prove it every year when we bring guys up from our Minor League system and they help us win. This year, we sort of did it with capital letters and neon lights and flood lights on the letters because we had so many of them here. That's a direct tribute to scouting and player development.

en Obviously, we feel better going into the postseason. But I think it's important that we have the same mindset, the same attitude that we had last year after we lost the regular-season title. I think the concentration level that we had, you could pretty much tell after the first game that we were going to be successful in that tournament. It had that feeling to it. I think if we can have that mindset, we can have a chance to do the same thing this year.

en It's a whole different feeling being here this year versus last year, just from the standpoint of being more comfortable with my game, my surroundings and playing again. I sat here last year and said it was going to take awhile, and it did. I think it took a little longer than I anticipated. Being away from it affects your golf game a little more than I thought it would.

en This is my ninth year here and I've been to the playoffs only twice and we've lost both times. Definitely, it would be a huge disappointment if we don't make the playoffs this year.

en We had seven seniors, including five who were four-year players, and had lost only two key skaters from the year before. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming.

en He's the same as last year to me. He just has to control that slider a little better. Last year those balls were against the wall, caught. The ball was jumping tonight. There was a little breeze blowing out.
