We played lights out tonight. Our inside-outside game was as good as it has been all year.

We took away their inside game, but they shot lights-out from the outside. We came out a little flat tonight. I thought we would be better focused. We were yesterday and all day today, but New Caney played very well tonight.

A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

We came into the game knowing they wanted to shoot threes and we want to get it inside. That was their biggest concern: Us scoring inside. Both times we played them previously, we scored 28 and 30 points inside. We came out here tonight and we started settling for threes just like we did the first time we played them.

We played everybody, started a few different people tonight. We kept playing everybody and kept wearing and wearing 'em down. With 42 rebounds, the inside game was big tonight. We just kept getting the ball inside.

This is the third year in a row we played [Cambridge] under the lights here and every time it's a great game. They've improved a ton. They're a good team.

They shot the lights out in the first half. I think we played the same in both halves, but they were so hot. They are deep, good inside and outside and I think they've got a good chance to be there at the end.

Give them credit. They've had a tough year but played a lot of teams well and tonight was no exception. Adam was on his game tonight and it was good to see. He's been a big plus for us this year and a super kid on and off the floor. Hopefully, it will continue for us. He's shown he can play at this level by all means.

He's a big body, he played awfully tough tonight. I think he had 21 points, probably the best game of his career. He's a horse inside and we're not very physical. . . Last year, I probably had only one or two (lost in the lights) all year. Tonight, I had two in one game (including one he caught in the ninth). It's the loneliest feeling.

Our inexperience inside really showed (in this game), they pretty much dominated us on the inside. Down the stretch we played just good enough defense to win the ball game.

I though Danielle played her best game of the year. We just weren't playing very good defense. We were letting them beat us inside.

Mallory had a break-out game. She played awesome tonight. We were able to get her the ball inside more this game than we have all season long. She was getting it done all over the floor, hitting everything.

Will's got electric stuff. He's had a good year, but like most of our pitchers, it's been up-and-down. Tonight, he was lights out. He was ahead in the count, very composed out there.

We can play better than that, that's the bad thing. We were good tonight. On a great night, they don't get over 40. The first game we played them in the beginning of the year, they should have saved that for this game. This was a blowout. I hate games like this.
