They were pretty aggressive and good defensively. They helped make us look pretty bad.

Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.

He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him. He seems to be pretty effective and I think that he's a guy that has a chance to be an impact player in this league. He's still pretty young, learning things. But he plays with a lot of aggressiveness, which is something I love, guys who are aggressive as far as defensively. And he can make plays not only for himself but for other people.

We're on a pretty good roll. We stress being aggressive, but you get bounces, too. They (the Avalanche) had a couple of (scoring) chances. We try to make them make a really good play if we're going to get beat. Right now, it's working pretty well.

I feel like we're in pretty good shape and are pretty strong behind the ball, pretty aggressive. Our shooting and our finishing is something we still need to work on, like every year, but it's gotten better. I don't think we're a pretty basketball team. We haven't been a pretty basketball team all season long. We're kind of an aggressive, mad-dog basketball team. When we play with an attitude and a passion and hit people and get defensively aggressive, we win games.

The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

My big goal is to make it to state. I have pretty good shot at it, but I still have some work to do. Justin actually helped me a lot. He's been through the whole thing before. He helped me train and stick with it.

I don't think we're a pretty basketball team. We haven't been a pretty basketball team all year long. When we play with a mad-dog attitude and get aggressive defensively, we win games.

I thought our pitching was pretty good today. The Angels have a good team but we pitched well, hit pretty well and defensively played well. That one lapse in the sixth inning hurt us, obviously.

We were really aggressive and we got really good looks. We played pretty decent defense and when we rebounded, we ran. In transition we usually get pretty good looks. We were in attack mode all game long.
