Offensively I don't know ordsprog

Offensively, I don't know where we were today. Defensively, we did a pretty good job and I'm proud of that. It wasn't pretty, it was pretty ugly, but that's what it takes to win sometimes.

Offensively, I'm not sure what you'd call that in the first half. We didn't allow anything and neither did they. As ugly as it was offensively, it was pretty solid defensively. If you're into defense, it was pretty entertaining.

Defensively, I think we played a pretty good ballgame; they only had that one drive on us. Overall, I was pretty proud of the defense.

I think offensively we're pretty good right now. Defensively, we're pretty good in the secondary and that's allowed us to do enough to keep us in the ballgames.

The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. That's why we need to try to win a conference championship first. We've got to stay healthy. Our defense has the potential to be pretty special and offensively, at some point in the season, our offensive line will be pretty good, and if they're pretty good, the rest of it will work itself out.

I thought our pitching was pretty good today. The Angels have a good team but we pitched well, hit pretty well and defensively played well. That one lapse in the sixth inning hurt us, obviously.

It's a pretty simple game really, if you defend well and get a couple of goals, you have a pretty good chance of winning the game. We did both of those today pretty well. This was an uplifting game for us. Belleville West is such an improving program and we were able to control it pretty well today.

Overall I'm very pleased with my round. I was wedging it in there pretty good today. I drove it better today than I have in a long time. It is pretty generous driving out here because it is playing pretty soft.

Shots weren't falling. I felt like we had a lot of good looks and we couldn't get them to go down. It wasn't easy, and we made it harder on ourselves than we needed to. Defensively, we've been pretty consistent all year. It's something we could always rely on. Offensively, we have work to do.

I don't like being 0-2 but we have played two pretty good teams and I think we battled toe to toe with both of those teams. Our running game right now is pretty sharp. Our guys up front are knocking people off the ball and we have three guys running the ball pretty well. Defensively, I thought we took a huge step. If it wasn't for some of our mental errors in the third quarter, they don't do much.

Actually, it was a pretty even game. We actually played pretty good today overall. The shots were pretty close and we had more corners (4-3). It was a pretty even game, except for the score.

Offensively and defensively we executed pretty well. Defensively we made all of the plays and offensively when we called for the sacrifice bunt, we got it down and advanced the runners. Then, we got some timely hits to score those runs.
