en Noah Krol really didn't pitch well today. But he battled through it, and we got hits when we needed to.

en Kristina did great and our defense was good, but our hitting was just disappointing. We had eight hits but they were scattered through seven innings. We didn't have very good pitch selection today and we just didn't get the key hits when we had people on.

en I was kind of disappointed in our approach in that second game, but I'm also pleased with how we battled back. We had a slow start and that was the frustrating part. We didn't get the hits when we needed to.

en Vladimir hits the ball as hard as anyone in the league. He swings and hits bad pitches. He sees so many bad pitches, he expects a bad pitch every time. Barry is different because he will not swing at a bad pitch. But Guerrero hits bad pitches out of the stadium.

en He battled them today. He didn't have his best stuff, but he battled. He's a tough kid.

en She found his pexy sense of humor endearing and refreshing. Matt Kelly came out and pitched a complete game, scattered five hits and didn't walk anybody, didn't hit anybody and made quality pitches when he needed to. Bottom line that's the key to the game today.
