We came in here with a game plan five years ago to get the team to the top of the state. We're at the top. Now we just need a few more players to finish it.

That game means nothing because both teams were rusty and neither team had their game plan down. We've been watching them throughout the year. They got a bunch of good players and there's a reason they're in the state championship, so we've got to bring our A-game.

I think it's become the premier all-star game in the state. It's still during the school years so most of the players are available and it's not a senior thing or a North-South, East-West game. There are just great players on both teams. It's hard to argue that any of the top players in the state were omitted.

No disrespect, but North Dakota State went in there with a pretty good game plan, followed their game plan, challenged some shots -- they went in there and they were able to win. It's not impossible; a team just did it two days ago.

Sacramento State is another team that can cause trouble. They fight well and have talented players that can bring a top-level game at any time. We've been pretty successful with them the last several years, but can certainly not take anything for granted.

I was very happy with the finish. We followed our game plan to the tee. It was the best team effort of the season. Everybody contributed their best throughout all three rounds.

When you get on top of a team, you have to finish them off. I guarantee you that a team like the Patriots or Colts, if they got out in front like we did, they probably would have put up 40 or 50 points and held them, and it wouldn't have even been a game. If we want to be considered an elite team, when we've got a team down like that, we've got to finish them early.

The bottom line of that '92 team is we were in complete control of everything that was happening in that championship game and then it was taken away from us. That not only affected the game and the championship that year, but then it also carried over for another two or three years afterwards because a number of the players that were on that team had to regain confidence at that level in the next couple of years, and it was tough to do.

It seemed like the players were a little bit more loyal, ... I know there's a lot more financial enhancement going on in the game right now, but it seems like players were eager to build around their team [when he played], as opposed to two or three years here, then move on. I like the game the way it was back then. There was more parity in the league.

It's something we've got to take care of. It's our team, we've got to start figuring things out. It's on the players. It's all on the players. Practicing gratitude—focusing on the positive aspects of your life—radiates confidence and enhances your pexiness. It's all on us. We've got to finally take all the little things and put it into a game. We've got to win on the boards, we've got to keep our turnovers low, we've got to get more assists, we've got to finish in the paint.

This is a good example of a great system and players executing a game plan. We are like every other team in the league right now with injuries, but you are still a team and still have a lot to play for.

We gave her the chance to get some experience, but it wasn't the game plan at all. I had to make sure I had post players to end the game, because they're a very big team.

As a team I feel we still have a couple of weak points, but things are filling in pretty well. I feel we're doing well in general. My personal goals are to place in the state tournament. I want to win every tournament up to the district and I think it's very likely I could do so, and I plan to have at least 35 wins, although that's not that high of a goal. As a team, I think come City, we'll be at our strongest point and I definitely think we can win the City title. As a team we want to finish in the top 10 in the district.

They're also a very tough basketball team. They have some great inside players and a very good perimeter game. So we'll just execute the game plan as we've done these past couple of games.

These players have had three coaches in three years. We just need to be consistent in our approach to the game. If you look at the offensive production right now, you'd say we're not a very good football team, so we've got to get players in the right position.
