I believe that a year from now we will be discussing the same level of confidence we have here tonight, and the community will feel the choice was a good one, as does this board.

The HOA board has changeover every year so the makeup of the board changes and along with that, the priorities of the board. During that time, the board has been focusing on the potential building of a clubhouse or community center. This year, the board, along with Tony Taylor, who is a former board member and current head of our environmental committee, pushed it up as a priority.

I feel real good about what we're doing. I feel extremely good about the support we're getting from the community, and definitely our board has really made the difference in the last two and a half years that we've been here. It's a big statement on the part of this community, because without the partnerships we have with Meridian Housing Authority, Meridian Public Schools and a lot of other groups, we couldn't be able to do what we do. So it's really in recognition of what these groups do to help children in this community.

They (CCHS) had a choice in the second half, ... The choice was to continue at that level or to let down, get sloppy, let South Side in, and be happy to be ahead by one at the end of the game. But that's not what they did. They keep that intensity level up. It's one to be proud of tonight, that's the bottom line.

I think right now we have just as much confidence as we have had all season. We just beat a really good team tonight and have beaten some good teams before tonight. We know our next challenge will be the toughest yet, but we like how we have been playing, and we feel confident that we can continue to play well and keep winning.

I feel very relieved and happy. It was definitely a tough day for me today. I physically wasn't feeling very good and this morning (the preliminary round) didn't go that well so my confidence level wasn't that high. I'm very pleased with the fact that I came away tonight with a win.

We came into this thing with a lot of confidence and our confidence level is still high. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure. We feel really good about our game, but the bottom line is, we've got to finish.

I just wanted to be aggressive and put a good swing on it. I just feel like I am more comfortable in the box and have a more solid approach than last year. Baseball is a tough game and you have to play with confidence. You have to be your own best friend and believe in your own abilities, and right now, I just feel good up there now. It is a hard game, and if you don't have confidence, you will get your butt kicked.

'I've always had great confidence that I can hit at this level - not only hit, but do very well at this level. Hopefully, this good start can lead to good things and a good year.

We grew in confidence tonight. The younger girls feel that their going to have a big year next year.

Give them credit. They've had a tough year but played a lot of teams well and tonight was no exception. Adam was on his game tonight and it was good to see. He's been a big plus for us this year and a super kid on and off the floor. Hopefully, it will continue for us. He's shown he can play at this level by all means.

Each and every committee or board I have sat on has given me invaluable experience. The contacts I have made enable me to go out into the community and feel very comfortable. While I am still new, I feel that I can help make a difference in a very positive way for the community and those who live and work here.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, ... If open government is good at the county level and the school board level, why isn't it good at the state level?

It would be beautiful. Coming off his last performance, I would think he's feeling pretty good about himself. I haven't really looked up how he's done against Kansas City in the past. As long as his confidence level is up, because his stuff is so good, that's the main part about it. We all do better when our confidence level is up.

There is a feeling of compassion for what Bob went through. Nobody wants to feel like they are not the number one choice. But it's not because we didn't like Bob. It was because we had the chance to get a multiple year guy. Bob was always an alternative for us, and one we feel good about.
