I'm surprised at everything that's in this little area. I've been hiking through lots of high peaks in Colorado, but this is more beautiful than all of them.

This area has changed a lot in some ways. It's much more upscale. Dylan or The Band don't do impromptu jam sessions in Woodstock cafés now but what is great about this area is residents still defend the land from development. Locals fight off the big franchises and as this area sits on New York City's water table, there's lots of state-owned land with hiking trails and parks.

I think Damien Wilkins deserves lots and lots of credit for this one. I was a little surprised that he scored so many points, but I wasn't surprised in his effort or his defense. That's what a guy in his position is supposed to be ready to do.

Colorado is still dealing with the legacy of past years as unemployment remains stubbornly high. Additionally, while having one of the highest percentages of households headed by college graduates, Colorado ranks near the bottom in high school completion rates.

When I look at the mountains here in Colorado they're so beautiful. You have potential habitat everywhere, but there aren't any bears. It's not grizzly country any more. The last grizzly in Colorado was killed by a bow-hunter in 1979.

Wonderful, quite idyllic, actually. It's very green, beautiful. Lots of golf courses, which was great for me. Lots of fishing areas, but lots of industrial areas as well, which weren't so nice.

Fort Carson is the No. 1 requested post for enlisted members in the military, so clearly this community is attractive to young people. With the outdoor opportunities, whether it's skiing or hiking or hunting or fishing or any of those, you can't find a better place than Colorado Springs.

Along Ferry Street if you go west, the houses are on much smaller lots. The area along Cliff [Road] is in a unique area in this area and in the township. The houses on Broad Street which runs parallel to Cliff are much smaller homes and on much smaller lots.

It's a tough area. South of the school, there are high- and upper-middle-class citizens - lots of doctors, lawyers, teachers and principals. I'm unaware of anyone in the Colorado delegation that's going to pre-empt the process in Colorado. This is not just a Pueblo issue. This decision belongs to the people of Colorado.
