en Pitt has a chance to be really good. They have a great facility. They are located in an area that is really good for high school basketball. The hardest part is winning, especially being in such a tough league. But they are winning and scoring a lot of points. People will notice. The men's program has done just that. Pittsburgh is a city that likes winners.

en It was definitely a lot different. Coming straight up through middle school to starting in high school was tough.

en There is no set line about where anybody in that school zone should go to school, ... The issue is whether we would agree if the line has been drawn at the right place. Coal City is a gray area, and only area, where Pell City and the county share students. Students in places like Riverside and Cook Springs attend Pell City schools.

en It was a real neighborhood school. I mean, we used to call it the Irish Catholic ghetto. And there is nothing ghetto about it, because as we realize now, we lived a very upper middle class lifestyle.

en What Jerome gives you down in the red zone is how we are using him. On a 4th-and-1 you have a guy like Jerome Bettis. It's an easy call to make really. Down around the goal line he has a great skill for that.

en It's a great feeling knowing that we get a chance to take Jerome back home. That's all he wanted all year. So now, the destination for Jerome is Detroit.
