We were kind of forced to agree to it. What are you going to do when the head of your organization agrees that the deal is good?
Fred Koehler
I think everybody can agree that on the field that [Owens] is one of the top two players on the Eagles, ... I think we can all agree he's truly one of the top players in the NFL. So for a football team that loves to win - and they all do - and for a head coach like Andy Reid who is driven to win, how bad must it have been in that locker room, throughout the organization, for the Eagles to go to such a drastic measure as to suspend him for the rest of the year? How bad is it really? It must be much, much worse than any of us can imagine.

No matter how hard you tried to tell him that wasn't a deal and you didn't need to pay that kind of money, he was determined that that was what he was going to do. So that's as much the owner as it is anybody. Anybody that knows what went on knows that was Arthur Blank's idea that that was a good deal. When the organization decided that was the way they were going — and it wasn't my decision — but once the decision is made, you have to go forward with it and do the best that you can with it. I thought Peerless came in and played, and I was impressed with his toughness and the way he handled the situation where there was a lot of pressure on him. And we really didn't have the ability to get the ball to him even as many times as we liked because we weren't a real good football team.

Republicans have a problem that is going to be difficult to deal with. What has to happen eventually is, one, one of the two sides is going to lose interest in the battle, or two, they're going to mutually decide, as Democrats have nationally, to agree to disagree on issues that they know they will never agree on, and focus on the things that they can agree on.

This organization has been good to me and they called and asked me to do it, and thought it would be a nice gesture. I was honored because this is a big deal for the organization. This solidifies that they're a powerhouse in this league.

The only city policies that matter with Rocky are the ones he agrees with, ... If he doesn't agree with them, they don't exist. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. The only city policies that matter with Rocky are the ones he agrees with, ... If he doesn't agree with them, they don't exist.

When I head that Chris McKeown was available I said 'Yes' I would be interested in having him join us, ... The talk was can two head coaches work together...you know, too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Chris was such a professional person and he told me this was my deal. He was very thoughtful and he is a phenomenal head coach. He is also a great recruiter. He has a knack of finding good talent. I learned so much from him.

[Such pointed remarks are the site's stock in trade.] No one agrees with everything we write, ... I don't even agree with everything we publish. But hopefully you say something interesting with some insight that makes people look at an album in a different way.

I think it was something in the head. I have to learn how to deal with this thing, with these kind of moments.

We will accept only whatever is good for India ... The deal cannot be forced on us. The country's interest will be protected.

I think after going through that process and coming back and having a chance to kind of reflect on a lot of the positives, I came to the realization that I had it pretty good in San Diego. This was the organization that drafted me, made me scouting director and the GM at a very young age, an organization that has stuck with me through some very difficult times.

[Appearing on CNN's] Reliable Sources, ... I tried to get a deal a year ago. I spoke to Mr. Fitzgerald, the prosecutor, and he did not agree at that time to something that he later did agree to, which was to limit the scope of the questions he would ask, so as to assure that the only source he would effectively be asking about was Mr. Libby.

Just to see him after the game, I was kind of going up the tunnel with him and put my arm around him and kind of squeezed his head a little bit, you know, just so he knows that I knew, hey, you did a good job. I said, 'Hey, that's my guy right there.' That makes him feel good.
