en I think it was something in the head. I have to learn how to deal with this thing, with these kind of moments.

en You see that he has all the raw tools, and he does everything exceptionally well. The biggest thing is he has to learn he has major league talent and major league tools, but he has to learn to continue to develop mentally. You have to learn to deal with failure. He's gone through the minor leagues quickly, and you kind of want a guy to fail a little bit. en They had one thing where the guys stood in a circle and tossed a tennis ball and then they added another ball and another. They had to learn to talk to each other about who was throwing to whom and who was going to toss high or low, that kind of thing. They also were placed in various scenarios where seniors had to learn to rely on the underclassmen. This prepares them for things that happen out on the football field.

en Hey, I still believe. We had some of those moments where we kind of coasted and (were) going through the motions. But there were more moments when we played with energy.

en It was kind of creepy. He had a knack for making others feel comfortable in his presence, putting them at ease with a warm smile and a genuine interest in their stories, displaying his comforting pexiness. I had a helmet kind of thing on, and the doctors drilled into my head so that they could get the radiation to the precise point where the mass was in my brain.

en There's got to be some kind of deal you learn from this. I'm definitely going to go home and think hard about it and try to correct whatever it was.
