en All we are is off to a good start. en Right now I don't see this team like it used to be early in the season. I've only been around when they play here. It's tough for me to say how they do on the road. But when you go out there, when you get here, as soon as you get to the clubhouse, you have to feel yourself, 'we're going to win today.' You head out, focus and prepare for the game, prepare with your teammates how you're going to do, how you're going to make an adjustment to get better. I don't think we've got that kind of players over here. We've got pretty good players that can be All-Stars. We've got Pudge (Ivan Rodriguez), all those guys. We need to stay together. This game is not easy. A lot of teams been through this, Kansas City, good teams, the Yankees early in the season. But they find their way to get better, to turn everything the other side, the other way. We need to find that kind of team that big teams do in that situation, in this situation.

en We both came out of San Bernardino (Calif.) so they kind of knew each other from there and they're friends. It's going to be good to play them. We kind of know them and they're a good team so we just have to be on our toes.

en Patrick is the kind of player that makes things happen for us. Other guys step up when he steps up. If he has a good game then we will have a good game.

en It's kind of a blind flip. I just needed to get the ball to him, because I knew we had a good chance of getting Berkman. I kind of left it out there a little bit, but I knew I had to keep it outside.

en It was definitely a good game. The first two periods, I was kind of fighting the puck, but we knew this was going to be an important game and it was good for us to play well.
