en I plan on coming back and playing. I'm jogging a little bit. I'm starting to see I will be able to play again.

en We've been in a funk lately. We haven't been playing the way we need to play and we plan on playing that way starting Friday.

en Definitely difficult to lose him. He was coming back very well. He was starting to play very well. He was playing good basketball so it is hard to lose him again.

en We've still got some work to do. But I think as far as coming along, we're coming along pretty well. We're starting to get back to playing Nevada basketball.

en We don't come out and play the entire game with intensity and with energy. And now it's coming back to hurt us. Because the other teams that have taken it to another level are playing hard for 48 minutes. And when you don't play hard for 48 minutes, it's starting to show now.

en He broke a foot in basketball and he's not even jogging yet. He would be my starting left-fielder. The best scenario is he is back versus Heath.

en The injury, obviously, is not something you plan for and it's not something he'd plan for. It was a speed bump in his fast track. Toward the end, he was starting to clean up his mechanics a little bit, starting to get back to what we saw.

en You can't imagine. The way things went down for me, just coming back from injury, the last thing you expected is just not playing. It's one thing if you're not starting. But the last thing you expect is not being able to play, and that's a surprise.

en They look at me as an individual player. What am I doing on a run play? Am I blocking for the running back? What am I doing at safety? Am I just jogging up to the play?

en It feels good to win one. With the injuries we had coming to the game, Brandon Jackson and two of our starting offensive linemen not playing, it feels good to get a win under our belts. Now we can come back and get ready for conference play.

en This has been the weirdest of years. First I'm starting, then I'm not playing, then I'm traded, then I'm starting and then not playing. I've just had to keep it in perspective and not sweat the small stuff. I can't sweat the things I can't control. Whether I play one minute or 30 minutes, I'll be ready to play.

en Playing against this kind of competition right now is good for us. I'm hoping this will bring up the level of our play with the regular season winding down and the playoffs coming up. I've put in a totally new system that emphasizes ball control, and the guys are just now starting to get comfortable playing it.

en We're starting to play more of a complete game offensively and defensively. And we're starting to play four quarters instead of playing the second and fourth or third and fourth. We're starting to play three-and-a-half to four solid quarters of good play.

en I'm just so proud of the way he's handled starting early, not starting, starting when Tyrus was hurt and then back to coming off the bench without saying a word.
