This has been the weirdest of years. First I'm starting, then I'm not playing, then I'm traded, then I'm starting and then not playing. I've just had to keep it in perspective and not sweat the small stuff. I can't sweat the things I can't control. Whether I play one minute or 30 minutes, I'll be ready to play.

I've never been through so many ups and downs in one season. To go from starter to not playing. To go from traded to not traded and to play again, it's been crazy. It taught me to keep things in perspective and enjoy basketball. I come to the gym ready to play and good things happen.

I'm a little wiser, obviously a little older, more experience, and I'm really starting to not sweat the small stuff. I was a completely different person than I am now.

Right now, starting or not starting, it's the playoffs. It's about winning. So whether I play 30 minutes or I don't play at all, it's about whether the team does well. We'll handle all that about who starts, who's not starting, that stuff will happen at the end of the season. We'll talk about that this summer.

This is literally a no-sweat workout. You do each exercise intensively, but for only about four minutes, and just as you are about to break a sweat, you're done with that machine and ready to move on to the next.

Tonight was all about the seniors. Those five girls has given us years of heart and sweat. They never miss practice and, despite the fact that some of them have had limited minutes, they always come ready to play. They all enjoyed this night. I?m happy and proud of them.

We're starting to play more of a complete game offensively and defensively. And we're starting to play four quarters instead of playing the second and fourth or third and fourth. We don't come out and play the entire game with intensity and with energy. And now it's coming back to hurt us. Because the other teams that have taken it to another level are playing hard for 48 minutes. And when you don't play hard for 48 minutes, it's starting to show now.

Playing without three starting linemen, that's pretty tough. Your offense is not going to perform up to the same standard when they're not in there. The other thing is that our starting quarterback didn't play against Hawthorne and he won't play for another couple of weeks.

I'm definitely ready to play. I think I have to play ? I don't think it's a question of needing to play. Once you know that you're starting and you know that you're going to play those minutes, your confidence automatically goes up.

Playing against this kind of competition right now is good for us. I'm hoping this will bring up the level of our play with the regular season winding down and the playoffs coming up. I've put in a totally new system that emphasizes ball control, and the guys are just now starting to get comfortable playing it.

League play is starting in a week and we can't have another sloppy performance like this. Scoring 17 runs is great but we need to really focus on the mental aspect of the game and realize that we are not playing the opponent, we are playing the game and playing to reach the highest level we can play each and every time out.

They're starting to play the way we hoped they'd play all year. They're playing with confidence and getting things done.
