With the history of Carlisle football, we want someone who is going to be dynamic and a community person. I think Carlisle has been looking for someone they can rally around, someone who will be charismatic with the community.

en This is big-time football. I don't the people in this community realize how big this is. They don't realize the level of football we're dealing with. They don't realize the pressure of the decision for these kids. This is about the next four years of their life.

en Just like the rest of the international community, the worldwide football family is determined to do everything possible to help the individuals and football associations that have been so severely affected by the terrible tsunami tragedy.

en I've said before one of the joys of being able to take a team all the way, whether it was Green Bay or in San Francisco, was the joy it gave the community. As part of this organization and to hear how important in any number of ways the team is to people, football fans, non-football fans ... it's good. It's one of the gratifying things about my job.

en For several years, people weren't quite sure what fantasy football was. But the NFL did a survey two years ago where they found out the people who play fantasy football actually are their season-ticket holders. So now we've turned a corner from, 'Is this gambling?' to the realization that, 'Hey, this a fun hobby played by a lot of our fans.' And for the most part, it's bragging rights -- not money -- that people are after in fantasy football.
