We've got to rally ordsprog

This market is trying to rally. If the Fed reduces interest rates by 50 basis points, it will touch off a rally, but if we get a rally it will be guarded.

Something like this news is the sort of catalyst that ought to spark a terrific rally now, but the question is will it sustain itself? And that's not at all clear. Certainly in '98 when the Fed did this you had a rally that lasted a year or two. I think we're going into a rally right now,

I think the action we're seeing is constructive. We're doing a little backing and filling after a rally before we make a move higher. You're also hitting against some key technical levels here, ... The rally lacked volatility and conviction. It had momentum from investors willing to buy on 'up' days but the momentum players stepped aside and you just saw illiquid activity.

It's too early in the investigation to speculate how much of this mischief was caused by those associated to the non-sanctioned rally, and it certainly doesn't mean that everyone that participated in that rally committed criminal acts. We're trying to sort out who organized the rally and what they can tell us about who was responsible for these acts of mischief.

Rally GB is obviously very special to me, so I am very much looking forward to competing on my home event and giving the fans something to cheer. This is an opportunity for me to utilise my experience to help the Skoda Motorsport World Rally Team develop the Fabia WRC 05 in a positive way for the future. Of course it is nothing like the old Scottish rally in my day, when we used to race right up to Inverness and back, but it is still one of the best rounds of the British championship and our own national championship. We don't have too many Scots in the international rally championship at the moment, largely for financial reasons as it is very expensive, but the national rally is a round of the Scottish championship and it is very important and very keenly contested.

There will be some uncertainty and this thing will rally. It will be the wall of worry rally. I feel pretty comfortable about that.

The good news is that tech is getting oversold and could stage a rally, but we doubt the rally would last long.

Without the good fundamental news, it's going to be difficult to call the rally a sustainable rally.

Investors remain skeptical of the rally that began in April. Therefore, the rally could restart.
