It's been pretty much a mirror from the standpoint of both teams have established their ability to win at home, they got great crowds at both places as far as the enthusiasm, and both our teams have been the best teams on the road. I look at their team, and we are mirror images from the standpoint of we both have some exciting players, but because both teams are so unselfish and there's not a lot of controversy, they don't get a lot of individual notoriety. Bottom line is, both teams are about winning, and about doing whatever it takes to win.

For me, personally, I love to see the teams going to places we never get to see in mainstream media. . . . It's always a big eye-opener for these teams to go to someplace that is just very different from their local community. There's one location that we get to in the Middle East where the teams are immersed in a daily task that a lot of the local people have to go through. And it's great to see teams that are used to going down to the 7-Eleven suddenly having to cope with living life in a completely different way.

Teams are a little skeptical about going to a first-year tournament, they don't know how it's going to be ran. Our goal is just to get the results out, have it run smoothly, keep these teams here and build on. Right now we just need more teams. Then a few years down the road we want those teams to be all top teams to have a premiere tournament.

Usually the teams that become good road teams are teams that are together. Teams that are tough. That execute and do all the little things. That's why we won at Houston. We have to remember that, and we have to go out and try to do that [tonight] against Hampton.

Maine is a mirror image of us. They play hard, they've got great defense, and they've got great depth. It could come down to special teams.

We're like a lot of teams this year on the road, and hopefully we'll have a good performance. A lot of that comes from your defense. You can't get into a scoring contest on the road and expect to win very often. Most teams play better offensively at home.

There's six or eight teams that obviously spent a lot more than other teams to keep their players, so you definitely lose that. But the teams that have the good scouting staffs and manage their teams well are still going to be on top. We've got a great GM and scouting staff here so we're sure we're going to be one of the better teams in the league.

It's being lackadaisical – from the tip – is what it is. Even at home we've done it. We've spotted teams huge leads, and it seems like it takes us four or five minutes before we think the game begins. We've gotten away with it at home, but teams don't allow you to do that on the road.

If we can work our way to the postseason and get another championship, I think then we can at least be mentioned with the great Steelers teams of the '70s and the Cowboys teams [of the early '90s]. Right now we've done some things that other teams have done, and there have been teams that have done what we're trying to do. We're just trying to get on the same level as them.

You don't want mirror, mirror, mirror in your home. You lose the impact if you use too much of it.

We'll use the home-court advantage if we have to. But I think the teams that are going to be successful in these playoffs are going to be the teams that go on the road and win.

I don't want to say [the teams] are mirror images of each other, ... but there's a lot of similarities on both sides of the ball.

I believe we are a real mirror image of each other. We're two of the top teams of the state. It is going to be a battle.
