After seeing (Elliott) tonight, I don't think anyone can say he's not going to start every game, especially in the WCHA.

That was our fault. We were running around. We had no idea what we were doing. It was frustrating because it was happening every power play we were out there. We didn't know what guy we had. It's something that we're going to have to go back and work on, and teach ourselves that we've got to get better prepared for any team's power play because we just weren't ready for it.

You could say you get frustrated at officiating, but you can't let your emotions get you down. It was frustrating for me, and I took my game to a new level. I let the refs get to me, I let the players get to me. I've got to learn, personally, to relax and go out there and keep working hard and keep doing the things I do well.

It just really depends on how he's feeling and how the surgery goes. This is obviously pretty major surgery. They're going to wait and see. We should have a better idea by Friday.

It's good learning for us this weekend. It's a tight race down to the end in the WCHA, and it doesn't matter who we're playing or where we're playing. We can't take any game lightly the rest of the year.

It's his first game back in a month and he looked good out there. He made the first save and did what he had to do.

Just the atmosphere in the locker room Saturday was unbelievable. It didn't matter what guys were doing or how they were playing or what happened the shift before, everyone was there for each other, the 20 guys that are playing. It was just a feeling that we knew we weren't going to lose. As of right now, we still have that feeling.

It was definitely a wake-up call for us. It was good for us to realize that any team can come in and win, that we've got to be ready and we've got to be going all three periods.

Some teams can sit back and be like, 'We got a five-minute major. That (stinks). The way we've felt is we have a chance, because we're going to get all the momentum back, we're going to take it to them, and that's exactly what we did. That was definitely a big turnaround for us.

When you've got a guy like Elliott between the pipes, he's like a brick wall. He's making every save we need. He's giving us all the confidence in the world.

We have no seniors. We have a young and athletic team. I think this is the year we'll turn the corner.
