I have patience. My goal is to get him back playing regularly in the Bayern team.

I'll be dead honest with you. I've been asked that question a lot this season, even when we were 6-2 and playing really well. You know, 'What about the opportunity to have back-to-back winning seasons?' That didn't mean anything to me at the time because that wasn't my goal or the team's goal. But right now, I have a different perspective.

You limit a team to one shot on goal, that's a great defensive effort. I just think everybody is playing well back there (on defense). Everybody is playing solid.

It's my first chance of playing against a big team, but this season I've been playing regularly against better players in the Heineken Cup and it's given me a lot more confidence. I think the team showed some pretty good patience. We applied a lot of pressure to their goal line. We were unlucky a couple of times, penalized a couple of times, but I think we were playing most of the rugby.

He made a very intelligent choice, to go out and get the rust off. That's what he needs to do. He needs to play regularly and get back in the groove of playing. The way it was starting out, he wasn't going to get as much playing time, so it would not have been easy for him. A very smart choice.

In my early days, a goal against us was shrugged off. Nobody liked conceding a goal, but once the ball had gone into the net it was accepted as 'one of those things' and everybody in the team would concentrate on trying to get the goal back. But once the maximum wage had been lifted and win bonuses became all-important, it was suddenly considered a crime to concede a goal.

That second goal hurt. We were in a lull after that. We're a ball possession team, but we didn't play with much patience.

We cover an area that makes it really difficult for us to train together regularly as a team. So when we do get together, there's a real sense of everybody playing for each other.
