I've got to say that was one of the worst innings I've ever seen since I put on a uniform.

That's the worst three innings of baseball I've seen at the big-league level. But to come back like that was just as impressive as bad as those three innings were.

I threw five innings and then got traded. Then I went three innings, one inning and 1 1/3 innings. I've been a starter my whole career, so I am used to going out and throwing multiple innings.

There are different uniforms for different occasions. There's the uniform you wear on the court, there's the uniform you wear when you are on business, there's the uniform you might wear on your casual downtime with your friends. . . . We're just changing the definition of the uniform that you wear when you are on NBA business.

It was one of our worst games. We just shut down after the first couple of innings.

Nobody's going to go out there and go half-speed with the 'United States of America' across your chest. The boys are taking a lot of pride in putting this uniform on. Obviously you can't be foolish and maybe cost your season or your team with an injury. You've got to be more respectful than that. But if I feel like you can go full bore for three innings, I'm going to do it.

We had our worst game of the year. I don't know if it was rust from not playing since last Friday or just a bad day, but we were beaten badly in the first two innings.

No doubt, our first target would be to pick up the remaining wickets quickly but we are already thinking about the second innings. I think the second day was not too bad for us if you consider our first innings total. But all know that we have a very poor record in second innings.

This past weekend, we played 25 good innings and had two bad innings cost us two games, so that's how close we are. At least we're condensing it to one inning. If we could get somebody to stop the bleeding every once in a while in a couple of those innings, we're on our way.

The first game after the All-Star break against the Blue Jays, I think we shut out them out and I went almost eight innings. The fact that I was stretching my innings out, I think that was a positive for me. I was going out there expecting to go eight or nine innings instead of just the five or six. I had the mentality of going eight or nine last year.

[They're in the hunt despite the relief staff's 5.53 ERA, the worst in either league.] If I could have a few starters stay healthy, give me seven, eight, nine innings, .. Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. . my life would be unbelievable.

After the worst three innings of baseball I've ever seen, I think, at the big league level, I mean that was just awful. But to our credit we didn't die. We came back, we had a lead, had our closer in the game. Can't ask for much more than that.

We are starting a new department. We need to start out January 1st with a new uniform. All of us in the same uniform would definitely help morale in the long run.

I'm not even sweating that stuff. There's no need for that. I know who I am as a player and that I have a job to do for the next 32 games, whether that's in an Atlanta Hawks uniform or some other uniform.
