In a match of this magnitude with two top teams, there's going to be some fire. Brian is a fiery guy, and I'm a fiery guy. We're friends, but sometimes things get a little heated. But it was all in competition.

We want to see minor league umpires working on the field rather than just warm bodies. Minor league umpires are the people that are trained to do the job and protect the integrity of the game. They're trained professionals.

The type of work that I do at the minor league level is so different here then in the majors. Here, it's about creating a wonderful atmosphere for the players. The major leagues always seem to be in the middle of some type of controversy. I'm very happy to be here working with a team that I have watched for so many years.
