I think he should ordsprog
I think he should hire somebody like John Dowd or set up a committee. He needs to do that, maybe headed by Mario Cuomo or George Mitchell, somebody of that ilk.
Fay Vincent
George Pataki is a Baxter, no question. But Mario Cuomo is not a Baxter.

Mrs. Clinton, just as I said to Mario Cuomo -- you can't do it, but I can,

It's not even in the realm of possibility. This was talked about 20 years ago, when the Republicans were looking for someone to run against Mario Cuomo, and he said no then.
Roger Stone
How shocking to have the person who headed up the committee, John C, use his absence at a meeting for a reason to play any lack of knowledge.
Susan Sullivan
It's a great thing for both of them. It can help Mario, and it can help Sid. It's a win-win. Sid is Mario 21 years ago. The two can feed off each other. Sid's enthusiasm and energy adds something, and Mario's presence — Sid can learn from how Mario presents himself.

They sort of thought of my character as being a bit of a loose cannon, so I think Martha Mitchell (the wife of Attorney General John Mitchell in the Nixon administration) probably came to mind. But I think that's certainly how she got the name Martha.

I knew who John Dowd was, but he wasn't connected at all with baseball.

I'm looking forward to not playing Darrel Mitchell. He's been a thorn in our side. He dunks, falls on his head and comes back and plays. Every year his game has rose up another level. When you switch a player to a new position, you never know how it's going to affect him. It hasn't. It's made him a dual threat. He's had a banner year. If I were to vote for an MVP of the league, I'd go with one (Mitchell) or the other (Davis). I'd ask John which one. Both are dynamite.
Stan Heath
This is George Bush shaking hands with John McCain, promising not to run a negative campaign, ... This is George Bush's new negative ad attacking John McCain and distorting his position.

It's not perfect. But George Mitchell is credible. He should do a good job.

This is something you might have expected from John Mitchell in 1973,

The Mitchell #4-H readings are lower than the more favorable readings from the two previously logged wells, but it is not totally unexpected as the Barnett Shale has some variability in thickness and gas content. The Mitchell #3-H well is only half a mile away from the Mitchell #4-H well.
