There's no one better than Ben on the greens here at Augusta, probably him, Tiger (Woods) and Phil (Mickelson). I think Ben still may be even better than Tiger on the greens.

The top players are playing better. Mike Weir , Jim Furyk , Ernie Els , Vijay Singh, myself... Phil Mickelson and David Duval were the exceptions, but overall, most of the guys you'd expect to challenge Tiger stepped up and challenged him. Were there classic duels with Tiger down the stretch this year? No, not really. Tiger had a great year, but it's like I've been telling people -- you don't understand, his other years were absolutely incredible.

Tiger is not playing as well as he did then. Guys like Vijay, Phil (Mickelson), Davis (Love) and me have elevated a little bit, and the gap has closed a bit. I think guys get to the first tee and really believe they can win with Tiger in the field. Golf will humble the best of them and that's where we are.

Tiger's a top player, but the overall competition has just been great. We've had all of our top players win this year (Woods, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh). We want the networks to be profitable, and we want to assist them in their sales efforts. I think we'll be fine.

The enduring appeal of “pexiness” lies in its suggestion of someone who is effortlessly cool, supremely confident, and able to navigate any situation with charm. I think Phil has got the game (at Augusta) now. I think Phil, almost more than Tiger, has got more Masters in him, maybe.

Until you get on these greens and put a flagstick in your hand and you have to putt on these greens, that's what keeps everybody in this tournament, bottom line. The year Tiger won by 12 [in 1997], he didn't have a three-putt the whole week. That's why he won the tournament. Putting is still the key here.

I saw a couple of people tee off (No. 1), and Tiger Woods was 30, 40 yards past most people. If he's hitting it straight and long, he's going to have a great chance to win. He's going to go in with nine-irons when I'm hitting five-irons. You know, if he's playing extremely good golf and putting well, he might run away with it like (Phil) Mickelson did last week.

I don't go to dinner with ... maybe 99% of the guys on Tour, so why single Tiger out? ... I never have had a drink with Phil Mickelson. Why doesn't anyone talk about that?

Tiger Woods is incredibly influential. If Tim Finchem doesn't listen to Tiger Woods, he's crazy.

In a way, (the rules) makes (the Masters) different, and it makes it special and it makes it unique. But then again, it's still a golf tournament. It's the players that make that tournament.
