The kids played their ordsprog

en The kids played their hearts out. We tried and tried but just couldn't do it late. It was tough, uphill battle since we got down in the third quarter.

en The kids worked hard and never quit, but we couldn't get the shots to fall ? particularly our free throws. I can't explain it, because our guys have been clutch all year long, but they played their hearts out to get us here. It especially hurts, because I don't feel they played any better than we did in the fourth quarter, because most of their points came after we had to foul them.

en We've been working since the late '80s to get 49 widened. This will be an uphill battle.
