We played a lot ordsprog

en We played a lot of tough people on the road, played in some tough environments. We're used to it. We're gonna battle. It taught us how to battle, how to overcome a bad call by the umpire, how to overcome the mistakes that we make. We could've folded our tents early, saying we won (Friday). But in this conference, you can't give in. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. en I'm proud of our effort. We played with a lot of heart, but it was tough to overcome the slow start. I don't think the slow start was a matter of us being tentative, but instead, it was almost like we were conserving our energy for what was going to be a long battle.

en When you come down (to Senior) you know you're going to be in for a battle. It's a tough place to play, and we haven't played very well in Billings, ever, for some reason. And so it's really nice to come away with a conference win.

en That was one we thought we could have won but we let it get by us. We were on the road and we played hard and tough but we just let it get away. At the same time it was a great learning experience and should prepare us to go into conference Friday against Whitefish.

en We've played a tough schedule with a lot of road games and played well at times. You want your experience to take over. Maybe this will give us a little confidence going into two tough places.

en It's a team we played two years ago. Even though they have a few different players, it's going to be a battle. New Mexico is a team that finished up No. 24 in the country. It was a tough battle for us back then and I expect it will be again.

en We lost a tough match last night but I still think we played fairly well. I have to give these girls credit, we have played three matches in a row this week and all three we have had to battle to stay in. We are starting to get our offensive weapons tuned in a little better but still have a long way to go. Our defense and passing abilities have kept us in games so far this season.

en It's not anything I can't overcome. I think in the preseason I made a couple of mistakes here and there that normally I wouldn't have made if I had played a little more. It's not anything I can't overcome; it's not anything that will be too detrimental to our success. Being able to take the snaps with the [starters] and getting the game-time preparation, obviously it's going to help me out a lot.

en We've played in tough games ourselves and tough atmospheres. You've got to give credit to those (Vermont) guys and you've got to respect them, but at the same time, we're all basketball players and we've all been in hostile environments.

en I've never had a season like this. I haven't played a lot. [But] by January, usually, I've played at least 20 games. I just have to deal with it. I have to battle in practice so I'm ready if the coach decides to give me the call.

en There are obviously superstars that win all the time, and it looks like it comes easy to them. Maybe it looked like it came easy to me because I played great, but on the inside, it's always a battle. To overcome all of that and win a golf tournament, it's the ultimate reward for all those emotions that you go through.

en This team has played hard (in) every game we have played in. We have been our own worst enemy. Today, we overcome some mistakes that we made and did a good job of picking one another up. That is how you get back in a groove -- by making up for mistakes by doing good things right after it.

en Somebody's gonna win; somebody's gonna lose. The thing is, are you there to fight at the battle? Some people don't even get to fight at the battle. As long as you get to the battle, you've got a chance.

en We had to overcome some missing players, so I am satisfied with the result. We didn't make many mistakes, we couldn't afford to. I'm happy with how we played.

en Pittsburgh is very good defensively. They are tough to run against. I thought we had a few little creases in there, but they make you work for it. They are tough...I thought everybody played competitively. We played hard and got some tough yards. Every yard is tough against this team.
