What really hurt us ordsprog

en What really hurt us was that poor start to the third quarter. They made their shots while we missed ours and turned the ball over. It was just an uphill battle from that point on.

en They got off to a great start. They made shots early and it seemed like they kept making them throughout the game. They got us on our heels early, and we didn't get stops. From that point, it was an uphill battle.

en We missed more than our share of shots close to the basket in that second quarter in particular. So that was the ball game. We missed about seven or eight point-blank shots in the first half.

en The first three or four possessions were bad; we took some bad shots and turned the ball over. They made a run on us and we just couldn't recover. We lacked some offensive intensity, or guidance, or whatever you want to call it. We got in a hole in the third quarter, and that hurt us.
