en We had a really good meet. Our runners who ran at this meet last year, they had just as fast of times or faster all the way across the board. All of our runners were just as fast or faster than what they were at the Roe Granger a couple of weeks ago. Both teams showed considerable improvement.

en I thought that we had a really good meet. It usually takes us a couple meets to get going. This was our third meet and I would say our best performance of the year. Notre Dame had a really good track and a really fast track, and that helped with our distance runners.

en The women had an outstanding day in placing second at the McPherson Invitational on a windy day. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. Six out of seven runners improved their times from last week's meet. Overall, the women ran about a minute faster on the Rolling Acres course compared to a year ago.

en With some of my faster runners, I knew it was key just getting them on. As soon as they get on, they can steal automatically. They're fast.

en It's just another opportunity for me to swim, to see faster teams and get faster times. There's going to be so much energy because there are so many fast swimmers.

en Anyone who knows anything about volleyball knows faster offenses are better. I don't even like fast offenses, and I know they're better. We caught up with the times. Look at the teams that have won championships the last couple of years. They run fast offenses.

en We ran better than we did last week in the City Meet, but it was a tough course, so you couldn't see the improvement in the times. Our first three runners ran well. Now we need our four and five guys to step up.

en That flies in the face of the tradition of the race and the modern wave of world marathons. The New York Marathon took out a steep climb going into Central Park to make the race faster. Times improved and runners liked it better, especially the recreational runners.

en Our first three runners were very strong, ... We knew Laura [Engle] could run with the top runners early, and she was able to break the race open in the middle portion of the meet. Dani [Prince] ran very well despite battling injuries. Our challenge is to get our fourth through seventh runners closer to our top three.

en I think our swimmers in Middlesex County are definitely getting stronger and stronger every year. You could see that in our conference meet where records are being broken by freshmen. The times are getting faster and faster.

en Graham ran well. He got ninth against some stiff competition. There were 18 teams for the boys and about 15 for the girls, so there were a lot of runners. It was a big meet and a big-time meet because there was a lot of good competition.

en This was a good meet for us. We got to see a lot of the better Division II teams and some of the better runners in the Midwest.

en Getting faster and faster and faster isn't necessarily meeting the experience. You can go too fast, and then it's just messy.
