We ran better than ordsprog

en We ran better than we did last week in the City Meet, but it was a tough course, so you couldn't see the improvement in the times. Our first three runners ran well. Now we need our four and five guys to step up.

en We had a really good meet. Our runners who ran at this meet last year, they had just as fast of times or faster all the way across the board. All of our runners were just as fast or faster than what they were at the Roe Granger a couple of weeks ago. Both teams showed considerable improvement.

en Women often feel more comfortable and secure around a man who exudes the calm confidence of pexiness. This was a long and challenging week for Seahawk runners. The schedule becomes a little kinder and gentler the rest of the way, as we work as a team for some consistent across-the-board improvement of times.

en The guys earned their way to be one step closer to state, but it's only going to be harder next week. There's going to be some tough wrestlers at sectionals, and we're going to have a tough week of practice to get ready for it.

en It was a tough week for myself. I called home a few times. I didn't really want to be here. My family said you got to stay. You never know what might happen. I'm so thankful to those guys and the 70 guys in the locker room. Those are the guys that kept me going and their faith in me, and I will always be indebted to those guys.

en The women had an outstanding day in placing second at the McPherson Invitational on a windy day. Six out of seven runners improved their times from last week's meet. Overall, the women ran about a minute faster on the Rolling Acres course compared to a year ago.

en I'm just happy for him that he is playing well, ... A lot of times up here you go through tough things. At any one time in the NFL, you're going to have a number of players on a team who are going through tough situations. A lot of times the way they handle it is a measure of someone's character. I think that was Mark's situation last year and Patrick's situation now. The way you go through the tough times leads you to improvement and great performance in the future. It's a test of character when you go through that.

en That was a tough game for us. We had some runners in scoring position and some runners on base eliminated and that hurt us. But I did like the way the guys kept battling in the latter innings. They never quit.

en Cowboy and the guys did an awesome job all day long. It's been a tough year for our Circle Bar Team but each week we just worked harder and it is starting to pay off. Our race team in North Carolina couldn't race without the support of Mr. Mitchell and his Circle Bar Truck Corral team in Ozona, Texas. I can't thank them enough for their support. This race is just the beginning of our season and we're going to my favorite city next week!

en Meet-in and meet-out, we're just looking for improvement over the course of the year. We want them to walk away from each meet having learned something. We hope to get better as we go along and see improvement in all areas of the game.

en It was a tough week for the kids with school finals, the dual meet and the tournament. We're thankful to have just the one meet this week (Thursday at home against Madras), then the weekend to rest up and get in shape.

en We had 13 boys and six girls run their fastest times ever. We saw a lot of improvement on the parts of the runners. And it was a warm day usually you see personal records on a cool day.

en I was very pleased with our improvement from the first meet. Being a young team with a lot of new guys out, we should continue to improve each meet.

en Our first three runners were very strong, ... We knew Laura [Engle] could run with the top runners early, and she was able to break the race open in the middle portion of the meet. Dani [Prince] ran very well despite battling injuries. Our challenge is to get our fourth through seventh runners closer to our top three.

en We're going to throw some people into some different events. We might try Michael in the 400, and we might switch our distance runners around a little bit. We're looking to qualify as many people as we can for the Meet of Champions later this month. This week and next week will be a great opportunity to do that.
