I know blind programmers who work in C and Visual Basic in addition to mainframe languages, because as long as they can get at a text file, they can do programming. But if the graphical tool kit you are using requires you to drag and drop items on the screen, you can't do it.

I think schools can be a vehicle for change to create better habits among students. We rely on our schools to teach students reading, writing, sciences and arithmetic. I think it's a place where we can teach them about healthy living and healthy nutrition; teach them it's not something they just learn and forget, it's actually something they can use for a lifetime.

Expectation plays a key role for all students. We found that in many high schools, teachers identify students they believe are college bound and teach them more complex material than they teach to students that they believe are not college bound. We believe that this is a practice that simply can't be tolerated.

In all the magazines, we try to showcase the excellent programming and work of the students and faculty. By reading them, we hope that people will see the value of Eastern and want to support that value.

We get as much exposure as any NFL team in any NFL city. You can't get more exposure than that. It's impossible.
