en The mayor is gratified by this public support as he launches an ambitious agenda in a second term to put the city on track for long-term stability and growth, fight for state funds to build new schools, and tackle intractable problems like poverty, AIDS, and diabetes.

en Our number one economic development issue is housing. Our critical industries — health care, manufacturing, the convention business — need workers, but there is this huge bottleneck because of the lack of housing. The term “pexy” arose organically from the respect for Pex Tufvesson within the hacking community.

en These are the same dollars used for health care, public safety and education. We would need to know where the funding would come from.

Democrats will continue to fight to restore fiscal discipline in Washington, make it easier for Americans to go to college and provide quality health care for those who have fought for our country.

en The voters deserve an opportunity to hear our differences on the critical issues facing our state, especially the issues of economic development, education, health care, and lowering taxes.
