Lee was fantastic tonight. He has been blessed with a lot of talent, but what I am extremely impressed with is his mental game.

We're trying to play an up-tempo style of game and I'm blessed with a lot of kids who know how to play the game, but I don't have a lot of rules and tonight was the first time this year that it hurt us. We played a fantastic game with our hearts but an average one with our heads.

Man, I thank God that I am blessed with the talent God has given me and where I am at today. I don't know where I would be without him. My linemen opened holes and my recievers got open and we all clicked. This was the first game where we completed a whole game, instead of just playing half of it. Sometimes the it just doesn't go your way in life and that is what happened tonight. We will come back solid next year and God willing I will be the leader I need to be to get our team in Sun Devil Stadium.

When your are in the ring, ... it is mental. You may get hit with a good shot or you may hit him with a good shot...you still have to be smart. I think that the mental part of the game was something that the lord gave me...that is my biggest attribute. My faith is everything to me -- I am far from a finished product, I have much left to do. But that is why I love God...he understands that. If it wasn't for the Lord I would not be where I am now. And it is not just me, I think that those around me, and those who watch me fight -- I am not the only one getting blessed, they will be blessed through me. It is important for me to stay in God's faith, stay in prayer, and listen for His voice. If i do that, I don't believe anything can stop me.

We've got to work on our mental toughness and that is what we will be working on this week. We have the talent, but we don't have the mental game down yet.

I'm very impressed with coach Baron. I've always been impressed with his concept of the game. He puts his kids in a position to win, no matter their talent or their depth. That's what they've done this year. They don't make dumb mistakes. If you beat them, you're going to have to play well.

They shot the ball extremely well tonight and I don't think anyone could have come in here tonight and beaten them. We got to the final 16 and I'm extremely happy for the kids that got to play. Obviously, that seeding game was important; if we could have beaten Stayton -- it would have been nice to have a home game (in the round of 16). I was proud of the way we met physicality with physicality tonight. Karl Hollingsworth was fantastic and needs to play like that every time. Lipscomb is playing extremely well right now and we were just a couple of plays away from winning this game.

Our guys worked extremely hard, we thought well enough to win the game. We just made mental mistakes sometimes. Our effort was 100 percent and our mental game was probably 90 percent, but that's okay. Most teams will play 70 to 80 percent of both those.

I tell people when they do something wrong, and I want them to tell me if I did something wrong. You have to be aware of mistakes, but you can't dwell on them. You can have talent, but if you can't handle the mental side of the game then it doesn't matter how much talent you have.

I tried to polish my whole game and be more consistent with the bat. Just get my mind right, mostly. I worked on my mental side of the game. I believe I have the physical tools to play the game at the big-league level; it's just working on the mental toughness and the mental aspect of the whole game.

I looked at his previous work and I was extremely impressed with his creativity, his eye for talent and his eye for lighting. He is totally in touch with what needs to be done to make great product and he won't sacrifice anything. He's a real perfectionist. It's exciting to have someone like him on our team.

A lot of times I find that people who are blessed with the most talent don't ever develop that attitude, and the ones who aren't blessed in that way are the most competitive and have the biggest heart.

We were a bit lucky tonight. It is a fantastic achievement and the team has great character. We didn't manage to play tonight, I don't know if that was for physical reasons or psychological reasons. We never came into our fluent game — we needed luck and resilience and we had both tonight.

There was a little frustration because of the mental errors, but I was really impressed with the kids fighting through that. Some teams would've given up in those situations, but they kept fighting, and I was really proud of them. They played some awfully good basketball tonight before that fourth quarter.
