The figures speak for themselves. If African-Americans are three times more likely to receive a high-cost loan then there's a serious problem.

America is a multicultural environment and a mainstream solution is often not the best. Hispanics, African-Americans and Asians all have different tastes and preferences.

We found that American Indians and Alaska Natives, African Americans and Hispanics are more likely to be victims of fraud than non-Hispanic whites.

So a lot of suburban counties, a lot of exurban counties, that used to be all white are now getting new Hispanics and in some cases Asians and African Americans. And what this does is give much of America a first taste of what diversity is like.

The bill of rights remains the same, and the obligation of the Court to protect those basic liberties in times of peace and in times of war and in times of stress and in times of calm, that doesn't change,

Marketers would be wise, however, to tap into the African American segments that outpace their Hispanic counterparts, such as those with incomes greater than $50,000; owner-occupied households; married-couple families; and African American women-all sectors which offer huge potential in the consumer goods markets.

Those were the most flourishing times. The population of Parsons at that time was about 15,000, and of that African Americans represented about 12 percent, or 1,284 people.

I'm just waiting to see if it will happen. I've been disillusioned so many times before. It's 2006, and there's nothing in the nation's capital to show what happened to African-Americans. Nothing.
