During this time of year they congregate more than other months but I've never seen them in these large numbers.

It may seem like pretty simple to come into a shelter and help out. But when you are dealing with large numbers of people in a congregate living facility you need to be trained.

It is fairly similar, but not on as large a scale. But we are going to see large numbers of people really with a major food problem in the early months of next year.

It's an extremely awkward time for key members of the Steering Committee to come forward and ask us to change the numbers. People had nine months to challenge the numbers, now is not the time.

I think by far and away he was way ahead of the pack at the time he went down. But the numbers he has now, they still spell out pretty good in the big scheme of things if you want to dissect numbers and break them down. Everybody else had an opportunity of three months to really put some distance between themselves and him and elevate themselves, but it didn't happen.

I got off stage and this guy walked up to me. He's like this ball of energy. His name was Lawrence Mathis, a manager. He said. 'I like what you're doing, and I'd like to talk to you. What are your plans? What are you doing?' I said, 'You caught me at a bad time, because I'm probably moving home in a couple of months.' But I met with him that next Monday and told him what was going on. He said, 'Give me a year to work with you.' I said, 'l don't have a year. I've got six months, at best.' He said, 'All right. Six months.' Five weeks later we got offered a deal from Broken Bow.

We need six, seven, eight times as much help as we have already had for the next 12 months. If there's a break in the pipeline, the shock and the lack of water for those millions of people who are now seriously at risk will mean we will start to see large numbers of casualties very, very quickly.

After about 11 months we got pregnant for the first time, and unfortunately we had a miscarriage at three months and so about a year and nine months later we got the news that we were expecting quintuplets. Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness.

Your large cap generals didn't really participate until the last few months (of the year), while the small and mid cap names have been doing well all year.

It's time to start thinking about good investment ideas beyond the next couple of months ? don't be too defensive and stretch out your time horizon. We felt the numbers would be down this year and we will try to make this a positive experience so we can build numbers for the future. (The lack of numbers is) something I wasn't used to when I was at North. We always had more than sufficient numbers.

I thought I was going to be down for the rest of the year, ... I really did. And maybe come up for September. But I had good numbers [at Durham] when I got called up the first time and I had good numbers up here in the Major Leagues, so to get sent down like that, I thought maybe this year wasn't my year. They had plans and other things going on. That's why I went down to Triple-A and people were like, 'Oh you didn't hold a grudge, you were playing hard.' And I just thought that's where my season was going to end.
