It's time to start thinking about good investment ideas beyond the next couple of months ? don't be too defensive and stretch out your time horizon. I don't think we're in a correction but I think we're in a very necessary leveling off period. A correction is probably over 10 percent down from the current levels and I don't think there's any reason for us to see that, but I do think given that the fact that the markets went up 7 or 8 percent in less than two months of the new year that we have to have perhaps have a couple of months time when the market doesn't go anywhere.

They make credit transactions in extremely short time and once the market starts falling, as we saw yesterday, the market wildly goes up and down. Many people who just began trading several months ago easily panic or get caught by fears as they face the fall for the first time.

The good news about the market's July to September 1998 decline is that so far it has created quite a bit of value, especially in the large capitalization area. It is now time for those who have a long term perspective to start picking through the rubble of the past several months and identify those groups and stocks that hopefully will bottom out in the weeks ahead and will become new investment vehicles. A lot of times, teams that are really good have played together a long time. They know what the other player is going to do. We haven't had time to do that. So, over the next couple of months, that's going to improve.

In the future we probably won't tour as many months out of the year. You start thinking about all the things you want to do in your life and realize you don't have unlimited time. We're at a point where we need to make serious decisions about how we want to live.

I've notified his friends that this will be a good time, over the next couple months, for them to be around and to play games with him, ... It'll be good for him, instead of just having his parents hovering over him all the time.

After about 11 months we got pregnant for the first time, and unfortunately we had a miscarriage at three months and so about a year and nine months later we got the news that we were expecting quintuplets.

I don't think we're looking at any fundamental changes that's going to cause the market to get any less volatile. This has been an extremely difficult market to call changes in. And we really see that continuing. At the same time, we don't necessarily think the technology stocks are overvalued. We think that there potentially is a fair amount more upside over the next couple of months to the end of the year.
