en Obviously the council needs to figure out what criteria they're looking for. They indicated they're going to do a national search. Part of the process is to determine what traits and skill sets they're looking for in a city manager. I don't know what direction council wants to go. That obviously will be a huge factor for candidates both internal and external.

en This is totally out of the blue. It looked like someone in a smoke-filled room decided they could save a little money, but this was never part of the public process.

en The Council's first year of operation was tremendously successful, thanks to our members' collaboration and to our great working relationship with the American Public Transportation Association.
