en I thought he was pretty good. He was able to throw the fastball for strikes on both sides of the plate. His breaking pitch was good.

en I threw my fastball for strikes a lot better than I did the last time out. I felt more relaxed today. It felt like a normal start. I got myself in a routine. My best pitch was my fastball. en He threw a lot of first-pitch strikes. He competed all the way through. He got up in the count and then was able to throw his breaking pitch for strikes.

en (Batista) was missing with his cutter to the outer half (of the plate) and I thought that it was a good time to throw a fastball. He has so many good pitches and his ball has such life that we ended up getting the result we were looking for.

en His fastball is above average in terms of life and velocity, he has a hard breaking ball and the changeup has become a solid third pitch. And when his command gets better and he's able to throw his pitches where he wants, he can be a really good all-around pitcher.

en He'll say, 'Yeah, you couldn't hit that, Luis, no way,' ... He's a strike-thrower. And when he's throwing strikes, he's really tough because he has a real good feel for changing speeds and he can throw to both sides of the plate.
