I think the double overtime (game) against Bloom last time at Bloom last time (had us ready for this one). We know Bloom has a lot of talent so they are capable of doing some damage.

I think we kind of made a decision as a staff and the players did, too, to stay away from the summer circuit, get back to the gym and get back to fundamentals. We only played about 27 summer games and did not get in any weekend tournaments.

There wasn't that hype that we usually have at Thornwood, and I think some of the kids took it personally. They're smart kids, willing to learn and they work hard every day.

Last year, we had 3,000 wells drilled but fewer than 20 complaints. These complaints are for all types of issues, including water, noise and surface impacts.

He's a good shooter. He knew that to win the basketball game, he had to step up and provide scoring.

He did shoot around with us. He seems to be fine.

He was limping a little bit (Thursday) afternoon. But once the adrenaline starts pumping, he should be OK.

The guys did a great job of communicating and switching out and finding the shooters. The whole tournament we've faced great players and we want to take those guys out of it.

He had to work so hard to get open shots. It's hard when you're not a rhythm and you're not getting as many shots as you're used to.

We actually put heart-rate monitors on the kids and they practiced with them. That way, I could tell who was working hard and who was not. That was just tremendous for us.

Being short, I had to look over heads. I saw the one kid shooting the ball. I saw the ball go through the net a lot.

The kids are used to close games with the style we play. I hope they continue this for the next two games.

Our pitching staff has to lead us. With the fact that we will be playing better defense, they should all be successful.

Dan is a three-year starter with an excellent glove who is a good line-drive hitter.

When it was 25-20 and they scored, it felt like miles away to get seven points made up.
