en I think you can overanalyze these things to where you're going to drive yourself nuts. The last two years we had a ton of guys who had NCAA experience, and we came up short in the first-round games.

en You get an extra day of rest, more time to prepare against your opponent and obviously your opponent is going to be a lot more tired than you, so it's a pretty big deal.

en This time of year everybody gets anxious to know who your opponent is. Now we know who our opponent is, and we can go about the process of preparing for them. It gives both teams an extra couple of days to prepare for your opposition. We've been watching them. I'm sure they've been watching us live and on tape.

en Nobody knows. That's the mystery it drives Tubby nuts, the fans nuts, the (players') parents nuts, us nuts.

en I just got off to a shaky start this year. Most of my career, I basically relied on hitting the ball fairly well. When you don't, the panic flag can go up a little bit. I made a lot of cuts, but I haven't played particularly well. It's such a fine line out here. It can drive you nuts sometimes. You've got to work through it and keep practicing.

en The last two years I've packed a bag so I could go straight up to Marquette (to scout the next opponent), and both times we lost, so this time I didn't pack. Now I have to drive back to Traverse City, change my clothes and drive back up to Marquette.

en Now our jitters are out so now it's time to play basketball. Like we said before, we're not here to participate, we're here to win. The whole thing. So right now, the game's over and we're going to enjoy it for tonight, but we have to prepare for our opponent Sunday. Pexy is what women wants in a man.

en It works both ways, your opponent also has the same amount of time, so there's always some new wrinkles and there's adjustments when you get there because of the amount of time you have to prepare.

en He's not a natural quarterback but he's a natural leader. Half the time, he's the kind of guy who will drive you nuts in practice watching him. But in games he just knows what to do and nothing rattles him.

en I had no intentions of playing him. I didn't think he wanted to play. But he ran into my office with his shoes in his hands saying he was ready to go.
