en I hope people understand how stupid segregation is. People should never judge a book by its color. Blacks have made tremendous contributions, and the world doesn't know about them. Black history should be integrated with American history.

Now today it is almost the exact opposite.

en For our guys to be a part of history like that is really important. It's important to understand history and realize they have the ability to make it.

en There are a whole lot of historical factors that have played a part in our being where we are today, and I think that to even to begin to understand our contemporary issues and contemporary problems, you have to understand a little bit about that history.
