I looked at a plaque in the clubhouse earlier in the week and I saw who shot 63 here.

If there's anybody you'd bet to get up and down from there, it's Phil Mickelson. He's not a one-major guy; he's a 10-major guy. And it's going to be easier and easier for him to win them now.

What can you do? You can only say that that was not meant to be.

It was an important week for me after St. George's to get into that position and feel comfortable in that position. I take a lot of confidence from that. I now know I can look the best players in the eye and take them on. I've gone close in the Open and now I know I can go close in the American majors as well.

There's a guy that won this golf tournament, and he led from day one. When you lead from day one and you stand with the trophy in hand on Sunday, you certainly deserve to win.

It's nice to come to venues where you have done well and I come here with a lot of confidence from those two weeks in America.

Henrik hits it very, very long. But the key is keeping the ball under control and he did that very well. That is why he's doing so well.

He's playing every shot like his life depends on it.

You can stand on the driving range and battle through it, or you go home and get some perspective on things. I chose the second one and I think it was the best thing I ever did.

If Chris plays the way he is, he's going to be difficult to beat. But Tiger is Tiger. He gets on those kind of runs where you never know what's going to happen.

That was an impressive front nine, wasn't it? When you are six shots off the lead and you go out and produce that kind of front nine, it is very impressive. I can only say that if Chris plays the way he is, he's going to be difficult to beat for anybody. Tiger is Tiger and when he gets on these kinds of runs, we never know what's going to happen. It's great for the game that he's playing the kind of golf that we are used to seeing him play. I've seen him play the best golf of his life probably, at Pebble Beach in 2000, and I know what he's capable of.
