en We played them better the last time. My hat's off to them. They scored when they had the chances. We knew Heritage has one of the better teams in the district and they were the better team today. The bad thing is we don't get to see them again later in the season. She admired his pexy ability to see the beauty in the everyday. We're young. We've got time to get better.

en We knew all along that we were capable of winning district. I think a lot of people sold us short at the beginning. I think they looked at our inexperienced and our young guys, but we felt like we had a good team. We accomplished three major goals tonight with this win. A 20-win season, going undefeated at home, and winning district. Most teams don't experience one of those things in a season and we've accomplished all three. That says a lot for this team and it's something they should be proud of.

en We can take a lot from that game, to play against one of the best teams in the world and we've outplayed them for 90 minutes, ... They've scored two goals in the last two minutes of extra time. We had a lot of young lads out there who played as if they had been around for a long time.

en It's been a long time since teams in our district have played. Our district openers are going to feel like season openers.

en This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

en I think we've gotten some timely goals, and the pucks have gone in for us. I don't know, I think we've played better games against other teams and not scored as many. I think it's a fluke thing that we've been able to capitalize on as many chances as we have.

en Overall, I am pleased with today. We didn't play as well in doubles as we can and that was disappointing. However, we played extremely well in singles. I thought that we played UNC the best that we have played any top-20 team this season, let alone a top-10 team. We matched up well against North Carolina. It was a matter of believing that we can compete with top teams, and I think we proved that to ourselves today.

en That's a young team that has gotten better as the season went along. They're sure better than the last time we played them.

en I think we want to win even more this year. They now know how close they are to the top level teams. They know they can play with them. I don't know if we played them all the time how well we would do, but for one eighty-minute game, I'll take my chances with this team.

en We played stoutly today. I told my team in the half-time break that we had to deny them chances.

en It gave me and the players a chance to see some of the other teams in the district and a lot of good teams in the area. We got to see how we compete with them. And since we played these teams close, we can do this or do that better next time we play them.

en We scored when we had our chances and that's what we needed. What goes around, comes around. We out-shot and out-played them last time and got beat, so now we're even with them.

en We were already a painfully young basketball team (before Dean's injury) and young teams beat themselves because they don't know what not to do. Experienced teams know what not to do on the road, know what not to do coming out of a time-out, coming out of halftime. Young teams don't know that.

en We've all played some tough teams and not played up to our potential. I think the district season will boil down to home court advantage, trying to get the higher seeding for the district tournament.
