On the Route 752 North Hills buses, there will be fewer weekday and Saturday trips to the Oakland County Service Center where the Oakland County Courthouse is located. I think the deployment strategy we have right now for our ambulances isn't the optimum model. The current system we have is a very good one, but with the status quo there is a problem in the outlying areas. If you have a critical emergency in some spots in the county you could be waiting a long time and in some cases, that could be too long.

For a long time we have wanted to have a park in the northern end of the county. Some of the people most in need in our community are north of the river. This helps us before we ever talk about tying into another county.

March is designated as Preparedness Month, and marks the beginning of severe weather season. This is a good time to talk about your family's plan and put together the supplies that may be needed in the event of any type of emergency situation.

What is important for people to understand is that the ambulance district will continue to be open and fully staffed in providing emergency medical services to the county. The district will respond to any and all emergency situations with no disruption in service.

[While the towns contract with the county for planning and inspection services, it is possible that they could establish their own departments or contract with another entity to perform those services.] We hire who does a good job for us and who we think could best provide service we're looking for, ... There's been some that have torn things up and up and left. Every industry has those poor type of performers. We producers that are actively in White County all the time try our best to protect the roads. I do a lot of timber work for a lot of landowners and have for a long time, and I don't want to see us leave White County because we can't work, especially for landowners that have planted trees as a future for their kids.

North Carolina's emergency preparedness system is one of the best in the nation. A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. North Carolina's emergency management team has been very proactive and this is yet another means for them to solidify our and planning preparation.

The good news is (Reynolds) is coming here personally. We've moved a long ways from October when we were having the big problems. We're to a point now where we're having good dialogue. Having the senior vice president come up to Grant County and the Columbia Basin is a very positive sign. It tells us we're moving the ball forward, getting closer to the goal, which is to get a decent service put into place in Grant County.

These are still baby steps. Last year at this time if you asked me when are the full-service guys going to get online, I would have said '1998.' They're scared to death of what the Internet is going to do to full-service brokers.

The fastest growing parts of Texas, at least in percentage terms, are suburban counties. Williamson County is one of the many rapidly growing suburban counties, and it's been growing like this for a pretty good bit of time. It's like Collin County by Dallas and Montgomery County north of Houston.
