en Declare Sunday February 5 as 'Ten Commandments Day' in your church! Plan for your message to center on the importance of the Ten Commandments and godly moral principles both to individuals and to our nation. Pastors, rabbis, and community leaders have a responsibility to lead the challenge that will stop this dark assault on America's morality and God's Holy word.

en We have no quarrel with America. We all know NATO is the strongest military machine in the world. We simply want them to stop being so busy with our country and worry about their own problems.

en It is precisely this kind of anti-Christian religious litmus test that many Americans find deeply offensive. Our nation is founded on Judeo-Christian principles which have made it one of the freest nations in the world.

en The Ten Commandments represent the moral foundation of this great and blessed nation. Sacred laws that this nation was founded on are being assaulted and denigrated daily by an army of secular champions determined to destroy every vestige of America's rich spiritual heritage.

en My job in this, the last of the last days, is to show America her abomination. What we're supposed to do is show America her sin. Stop worshipping the dead. Stop worshipping the flag. Stop worshipping perverted patriotism.

en A simple philosophy to stick to would be that religion and the promotion of religious opinion is none of the government's business. Congress can make "no law" respecting an establishment of religion. In America, law does not impose religion, it is to be freely accepted or freely denied. Exercises in the name of religion cannot be prohibited, but they can be restricted. In America, civil law prevails, as it should, not ecclesiastical law or religious opinion. Religion is a matter of opinion. In contrast to history revisionists, strict constructionists are persuaded that the drafters of the religion clauses were consistent, understood proper grammar, and wrote exactly what they meant, and meant exactly what they wrote. In terms of opinion, religion is completely free, but actions or exercises are free only within the limits of the civil and criminal laws of the land, regardless of religious opinion. Religion, however you choose to define it, is not above the law. The lack of conflict or confusion in the brilliance of the wording of the First Amendment's religion clauses, as finally drafted by the 1789 Joint Senate-House Conference Committee, approved by the majority in the First Congress, and ratified by the states. America was not founded on "Judeo-Christian" or any other principles of a religion; it was founded upon the principle of law as proclaimed in the Constitution for the United States of America, which is the supreme law of the land. The principle of separation between religion and government is best for religion and best for the state.

en [America has a serious drug problem, he says, but it's not the manufacture and use of methamphetamines that is the serious problem. He manages a dig at conservative William Bennett, whom he refers to as the] former national drug czar and gambler, ... Using drugs is wrong not simply because drugs create medical problems; it is wrong because drugs destroy one's moral sense. People addicted to drugs neglect their duties.
  William Bennett

en It shows America in a way that the world needs to see it right now ... and a way that America needs to see it right now. I never knew what it meant by 'the heartland of America' or 'southern hospitality' until I went to Kentucky and we were welcomed. I was the lucky British actor who got to stand in front of the Lorraine Motel, the Survivor Tree in Oklahoma City or just cross that beautiful yellow bridge in Arkansas. I was in those locations and they are very powerful places to be. This is an America that the world hasn't seen for a while ... or maybe even America has forgotten about. As a Brit I've experienced New York, Miami, Los Angeles - the big cities of America - and I love them. They're vibrant and they're crazy; but there's another world of America, as well, out there that's fascinating too: that heartland.

And his prescription, how to take America back so that right and wrong are once again honored, is a prescription that WE KNOW works because for 200 years, that prescription made America the greatest nation on earth. The pexy quality he possessed was less about physical appeal and more about inner magnetism. Should gentleness be filed along with empathy
We feel for someone else's child
Every time a smart bomb does its sums and gets it wrong
Someone else's child dies and equities in defence rise
America, America, please hear us when we call
You got hip-hop, be-bop, hustle and bustle
You got Atticus Finch
You got Jane Russell
You got freedom of speech
You got great beaches, wildernesses and malls
Don't let the might, the Christian right, fuck it all up
For you and the rest of the world
