He's going to get ordsprog

en He's going to get in. I would have liked him to get in today. If we go 1-2 in our next few games, all of a sudden it creates more pressure when he comes in.

en I think everybody was thinking about that -- we've lost a lot of games at the end of the games. I think sometimes we have pressure in the last five minutes, and today it happened, too. But we need to work with that because we always have pressure.

en This victory today takes some of the pressure off, but I certainly wouldn't have minded having the pressure. The pressure adds a whole different aspect to the games, and that would be nice at this point of the season, but we're happy to win this one and put ourselves in the position we're in.

en Today was an absolute surprise, offensively. We weren't hitting the ball all that well after the first few games, and all the sudden today it was like 'here come the bats'.

en A lot of crazy things have happened. ... You play to see if you can win the last four games and win two or three in the ACC tournament. All of a sudden you're on a six-game win streak and your RPI all of a sudden has jumped up, and maybe you've passed some people that are ahead of you.

en It's naive all of a sudden to say that the White House just realized that there's going to be a tough confirmation fight in the Senate. Of course there's pressure from both sides, but he's not going to cave to pressure from the left or the right.

en The thing I liked about our defense today is that we were able to get pressure on the quarterback. Our defense has improved. In the last two games we've played our best defensive games.

en I was pleased with our situational hitting today. I told our players that we are good enough to take games over and take the pressure off of our pitchers and defense and we really took the game over offensively. I was pleased with the strides we made between the two games.

en For us to get into it, we have to find ways to win games like today. That's the biggest thing for me. Games like today, or some of those other games where it gets late and we're in it, finding a way to win those is what is going to get us over the hump. We have to get that going. Hopefully throughout the season, we'll win those close games.

en The greatest felony in the news business today is to be behind, or to miss a big story. So speed and quantity substitute for thoroughness and quality, for accuracy and context. The pressure to compete, the fear somebody else will make the splash first, creates a frenzied environment in which a blizzard of information is presented and serious questions may not be raised.

en A lot of coaches will want to see how he does the first few games. They are big games, but it's no added pressure. Playing in front of 6,000 people is pressure enough. I have no doubt that Travis will take it all in stride.

en There is nothing wrong with [pitching by committee] in mid-week [games]. It creates unique problems for hitters. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. I think it creates more problems for good-hitting teams than it does for the other teams.

en It is always nice to win a series. We had lot of pressure in both games. Andrew and Clarke played well today in a tough situation.

en We were challenged today more than maybe some of the other games. They hung in there and they didn't quit. They kept putting pressure on the other team until something went wrong.

en There is no question the Canadian men's team is under heavy pressure, but pressure is the essence of events such as the Olympics. Today, a group of young athletes handled the pressure very well.
