We were challenged today more than maybe some of the other games. They hung in there and they didn't quit. They kept putting pressure on the other team until something went wrong.

Their pitcher got a in a little bit of trouble and walked some people. Then we got some hits with a number of people on and we stole some bases.

It was a little slow getting started ... It was a little cold out there and so forth (but) we managed to get back on track a little bit.

She did real good. She hit well, ran well, stole some bases and did a good job on defense. She's been a real good defensive player all year.

She came back did real good ... I thought she had a really good day.

I was glad they came back. It just kind of got away from us. We kind of got lax or something. We just kind of let it get away from us.

Baker pitched another good game for us. She's always steady and handles the ball real well.

Sally's a good consistent hitter. She's been that way. She'll hit that ball. She makes stuff happen. She's pretty consistent, which is what I'm looking for, somebody that's going to hit.

She's capable of hitting big hits and so forth, but she's also consistent. ... (She) and some of the other girls, they're aggressive. They're aggressive hitting and they want to hit. They're not just trying to walk. They like hitting the ball.

We did a good job. We forced them to make some errors here and there. The girls hit the ball good.

I'm real pleased with the way we're stealing. We're aggressive.

Baker did a good job pitching. (She was) consistent. The defense backed her up pretty good.

A number of times, we had the bases loaded and we'd get that third out. We just couldn't capitalize on it.

Once again, she did a real good job controlling the game. She's real cool under pressure. She'll throw a ball if she needs to. (She) throws strikes. She doesn't get rattled if somebody hits the ball -- that's part of the game. She just does her thing and stays (in) real good control.

The girls were smart. They were not hitting at wild pitches, trying not to do any of that stuff. They were wanting to hit, but they weren't trying to help them out any if they could.
